About PPR

The Penn Program on Regulation (PPR) brings rigorous, balanced analysis from multiple disciplines to bear on important regulatory policy problems and alternative strategies to solve them, as well as on the processes of making and implementing regulation.

Although PPR is based at the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, its more than 60 affiliated faculty and researchers come from eight schools across the University of Pennsylvania. Their scholarship advances understanding related to how regulatory policies are or can be more appropriately designed, enforced, and evaluated. Penn’s strong cross-disciplinary tradition makes PPR uniquely positioned to advance legal, policy, and scientific analysis of issues related to regulation and regulatory policymaking.

PPR sponsors The Regulatory Review, the leading online source of regulatory news, analysis, and opinion which publishes new content daily and includes work contributed by staff members, scholars, judges, attorneys, and others interested in regulatory developments.
